Served as an USAF Officer. First in OTS (Lackland AFB), then tactical communications (MacDill AFB, Hurlburt Field), then as a computer programmer for message processing systems (Keesler AFB, Tinker AFB). Finished up at HQ Standard Systems Center (Gunter AFB) (1976-1988).
Employed by Federal Government, Intelligence Community. Served as Agency Anti-Virus Program Manager, Reverse-Engineered malicious code, Investigated Computer Security Incidents (from criminal to espionage), Developed specialized tools for computer forensics. Served as Senior Scientist for Special Projects. (1988-2009).
